Another Weekend Pt.3

For some reason it seems like I am only blogging once a week now. I don't know why, its not like I'm busy but thats just how its been working out. Well the weekend for me started on Thursday where caught the Laker game then had to head to Jade Theater. Caught the end of the game at the club where the Lakers lost Game 1 :( . Didn't even spin on Thursday cause the night was pretty slow, so I was pretty much home for Leno.

Friday had me rolling with the SRC label peeps. Had a meet & greet with TOPIC from LA, West Covina to be more precise. Linked up at Seau's where we grubbed before heading to Z90 and then downtown to go see FELLI FEL. Felli was spinning at Thin where he pretty much just dropped a somewhat Vegas style set. Didn't impress me. Shout out to Jay from SRC for coppin a couple bottles. Pretty much was hella tipsy off that GOOSE. I hate when I get drunk when I don't plan on drinking.

Saturday watched the UFC fight even though it was prerecorded since it was in the UK. Left before the main fight to head to the club. Pretty much was hella wack. Felt like a bad house party. Shout out to my doode Teknikscian and Des for rollin through and chillin for a bit. Thanks for the $6 Corona.. WTF!!!!!!! I guess thats how they get down at the bar. I usually just get drink tickets and go to town, don't know anything about buying drinks other than tips.

Sunday.. got hella dark doing work outside then caught Game 2 of the NBA FINALS. Damn you Lakers!!!!!! Down by 24 with 8min left in the 4th quarter to make a huge comeback dropping over 40 points in the 4th quarter. Ended up losing. Hope they can pull at least 2 wins in their 3 game home stand this week. Otherwise, ITS A WRAP!

ANOTHER LONG WEEKEND!

This past weekend was another long one. 

THURSDAY:

Starting Thursday, it was TK's birthday finale pretty much at Jade Theater. A bunch of people showed up for dinner. I showed up after dinner to hang out. Here are a few pics featuring me and what not but the rest of the pics you can find on TK's blog here. As you can see, somehow me and Teknikscian ended up with TK's bottle. We ended up finishing it up at another club when they closed Jade Theater. 

FRIDAY:
Friday night had me rolling a birthday party for Andrew's birthday. Yes yes, there is another Andrew in the mix somewhat. Pretty chill night and shoutout Becky for the invite and TMNT theme behind the party. 

SATURDAY:
Caught Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals to see who the LAKERS would be facing in the finals. After the game I headed to Clairemont to go scoop up Zooie at his uncles place. Downtown was pretty much dead in my opinion. We ended up at a couple different spots, drinking at each and everyone of them. From what I remember we went to Bondai, Thin, Onyx and Visions. After downtown we met up with Mr. MIA aka Mr. Cali B aka Mahjestik at a taco spot by his honey dip's place in Mission Valley. To my surprise.. Becky, Andrew, Andrew's brother and one of their friends were at that Sombrero. They were at Jade Theater and said it was wack. 

SUNDAY:

Still drunk from the night before, I woke up early to do some family stuff then get ready for Extreme Autofest at Qualcomm Stadium. To my surprise, every stereotype of a cholo was there in full effect at the car show. Full khaki suits, Nike Cortezs, knee high socks, shaved heads and tattoos on their heads for the guys. On the girl side were way too much makeup, wearing skin tight clothing even though they were FAT and 16 year olds looking like sluts and pushing kids in strollers.

I'd have to say it was the worst car show I have ever been to. I didn't even walk around the show at all. Just stayed at the Babeblvd/MITT booth the entire time. The show for the most part was pretty bare, so here are some pics from the booth. 

After the show we all headed to Shogun in Clairemont where we all grubbed after a long day of a wack car show. Shoutout to homegirl who was with us that hooked it up since she works at Shogun. I feel bad because I forgot her name. Also shoutout to our chef that smacked Jeri Lee with a shrimp in the eye cause that shit was MAAAAD funny!!!!
